CNC machining – our professional team

CNC Machining

Each of our CNC machine operators is a specialist in the following:

  • machine tools operation along with the assigned drivers,
  • selecting tools from the tool magazine for a given detail and material it will be made from and defining them in the controller,
  • setting machining bases depending on the number of axes of a given CNC machine and the shape of the detail,
  • controlling the entire process and product at every stage of its production, by measuring the manufactured details in terms of their size and shape,
  • adjusting machining parameters to minimize losses and to boost efficiency,
  • making minor modifications to CNC machining programs,
  • checking the condition of machining tools and the correct operation of machines,
  • cleaning and maintenance of the machines and tools used daily at work,
  • minimizing material losses related to waste, arising as a result of incorrectly entered parameters into CNC machine software

Additional specializations

work of technologists and programmers

Moreover, in our team there are people who have additional qualifications, apart from the skills mentioned, which enable them to perform the work of technologists and programmers, and their tasks include

  • preparation of machining technology,
  • matching handles and tools,
  • CNC machine programming,
  • ensuring production continuity and optimization of machine work,
  • developing the implementation of reference products and preparing full documentation,
  • supervision over the introduction of a new product into the CNC machine program

We regularly invest and expand our machine park to respond to changes in the machining industry as effectively as possible and to offer the widest range of services. We have machine tools from internationally renowned manufacturers who offer high-class CNC lathes and milling machines that enable us to turn, mill or drill.

We work with many industries that use the details we produce in their everyday operations. Our clients represent the healthcare, automotive, chemical or food industry, where it is essential to use precisely made elements.

CNC machining – see how we can cooperate?

Contact with the customer begins when we receive their inquiry sent via the form on our website, in an e-mail or during a telephone conversation.

We always ask for precise guidelines along with the necessary drawings on the basis of which we are able to prepare model pieces, and before that, also a detailed quote. The inquiry should also include the type of material from which the order is to be made, the exact technical specifications and any requirements regarding the service.

For valuation, it is also necessary to provide us with the quantity of a one-off order, the expected repeatability of orders in the current year, as well as requested completion date and delivery method. The larger the order, the better the unit price of the product. We make a valuation of details up to a maximum of 5 business days. The price also includes the method and cost of delivery, depending on the customer’s indications. It is possible to collect the manufactured order independently, after prior appointment.

CNC Machining

In the case of a new customer, we ask for a prepayment of a minimum of three subsequent orders. Thanks to this, both parties can start cooperation with no worries and slowly build partner relations based on trust, which will result in establishing new payment rules in the future.

CNC machining – extra information

What is CNC machining?

The machining process is also known as subtractive machining. It is removing excess material from a piece of metal until the predefined shape is obtained. CNC machining is simply performing the aforementioned process on CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, i.e. on computer-controlled numerical machines.

Manually operated conventional machines have been used in the machining process for years, which unfortunately created many opportunities for making mistakes. The employee manually assembled and disassembled the tools needed in the machining process, controlled the dimensions of the manufactured detail at every stage of the production process and checked the compliance of the final product with the reference documentation. Therefore, there was no certainty of perfect rendering of the customer’s objectives or manufacturing precision. What is more, conventional machine tools, due to their imperfection, did not allow repeatability of production or short completion time. This exposed the company to additional costs related to, for example, working time or increased amount of waste generated as a result of flawed production.

CNC machining – efficiency and task automation

Of course, a CNC machine itself is just a tool and specific instructions required to produce a given part are entered into the computer by a qualified CNC machine operator, whose knowledge allows him to translate data from a technical drawing or model into the language of a computer program saved in the machine controller. However, the quality of the manufactured part is incomparably higher than if the same part was produced in a traditional machine tool. Thanks to this, we minimize errors and ensure repeatability of detail production in continuous production, which was, after all, the main idea behind the creation of this type of machine tools.

The advantages of CNC machining

CNC machining allows us to program the machine in such a way that will take into account both the design, the type of material and even the surface roughness specified in the customer’s inquiry. The software used in CNC machines is a sequence of blocks of software-technical, geometric and technological information used by the CNC control system at each stage of machining.

CNC machining advantages:

  • transition from manual to fully automated production,
  • increasing production speed of individual details and thus efficiency,
  • enabling perfect repeatability of manufactured details,
  • achieving narrow tolerances of detail manufacturing, thanks to the precision of controllers,
  • versatility of CNC machines (from ones designed to produce small details to multidimensional parts produced, for instance, as components of nuclear power plants),
  • reducing unnecessary costs, such as material losses resulting from faults in manufactured details,
  • increasing the safety of machine tool operators through solutions used in CNC machines and impossible to use in the case of conventional machine tools, such as automatic systems shutting down the machine in the event of a failure or cutting off the operator from the product during the manufacturing process by using safety glazing.

What materials can undergo CNC machining?

The use of CNC machines in production makes it possible to increase its flexibility and to match market expectations. Obviously, the materials on which a given company works in the CNC industry depend mainly on its specialization, and thus on the needs of its customers as well as on the adaptation of the machine park to their expectations.

Materials that can undergo CNC machining are as follows:

  • Metals: steel in its various varieties including carbon, hardened, stainless, aluminium alloys, copper and its alloys, brass, magnesium and its alloys, graphite, tungsten, molybdenum, nickel, titanium and others.
  • Thermoplastics and thermosets, carbon fibre composites, acetal (POM), acrylic (PMMA), polycarbonate (PC), polypropylene (PP) and others.
  • Other materials: wood, plywood, foams, e.g. for carving or hard, and even glass or stone.
